EFPN provides its award-winning Be Wise community education events and staff training programs throughout California and beyond. We produce events in partnership with financial institutions, law enforcement agencies, and social service agencies. Among these events is Call to Action.
Customized training seminars, keynote speeches and community education events are provided by EFPN on the following topics:
- Be Wise: Prevent Scams, Fraud, and Identity Theft (presentation and seminars for seniors) – available in 30-minute to half-day training seminars
- Developing Community-Based Collaborative Partnerships to Fight Elder Financial Abuse – 60- to 120-minute program designed for multidisciplinary community groups or coalitions that want to launch a local prevention initiative
- Update on Elder Financial Abuse and California’s Mandatory Reporting ACT – a 60-minute presentation for community advocates
- Annual Call to Action professional conference, luncheon, and award ceremony – a day-long event held in March in San Francisco and in Southern California in September
